Nice Thai Cuisine

Honestly I know all five stars might seem a bit excessive but the place was awesome. You can see photos of everything I ordered here. I was happy with every single dish. Portion sizes were more than generous especially for the price, Thai tea was not too sweet which is something I really appreciate, and all the staff was very nice The spice levels were well defined. I ordered hot for a couple of the dishes and it was the perfect amount. These are the kind of restaurants we need to support and help thrive. You can tell they take pride in their food. Highly highly recommend.

I need to leave this hole in the wall a 5 star review so you don't dismiss it like i almost did! First of all, thr hostess/server has the kindest vibe. I absolutely enjoyed her vibe. Service was great as was the food. We both had parang curry and the mango sticky rice. Large servings, excellent prices. 10/10!

One of the most authentic Thai foods with the closest Thai ingredients in the area. I really miss Thai boat noodles that I can't find easily anywhere else. They have special food every week so before I left Virginia I had a chance to try and it was amazing. If I have a chance to go back again I will definitely go there.

Pretty decent place for Thai food. If you can handle spices, I recommend ordering the spicier option. I find that the dishes are more on the mild side but taste great once I add more chili. The drunken noodles can use some more noodles, but the meat & vegetable ratio was decent. The pad Thai is good, best out of all Thai restaurants I've tried in the VB-Norfolk area because it balances the umami flavor & sweet tangy taste of the tamarind sauce well. It looks like they also have great lunch combos!

Came here at the recommendations of a Thai friend and it did not disappoint. I liked my 2 visits here. First visit showed up with a hard-to-please fellow diner, but the kitchen was willing to accommodate to the fussiness and for that I was greatful. When I returned alone to enjoy food as served, nothing changed in terms of service. They were just really nice. The khao soi chicken is one of the dishes that you don't see very often on the menu because it requires a certain palette to appreciate the complex flavor. I wish they served it with sliced shallots, instead of red onion, and wish the had chilli oil instead of chilli powder. That would have made the dish perfect. The serving of the khao soi is a presentation in itself....pouring of the curry table side. Nice clean interior. They were busier when I visited during dinner.

I had a wonderful experience at Nice Thai Cuisine. I wish I lived closer because I would probably be there once a week! The service was just fantastic, my server was so incredibly friendly and happy to be there. I ordered the lunch special where I got a soup, pad Thai, and massaman curry. All the food was fresh and delicious. The chef brought out a complimentary oyster dish for me to try as well and it was so flavorful. I also had a yummy Thai tea in the biggest cup I’ve seen at a restaurant. They did not skimp! Overall, I was so impressed and had such a nice time. Can’t recommend enough!

The waiter that greeted us was so sweet and we were sat very quickly. The food was fenomenal and I highly recommend their curry. The curry is brought out in a big bowl with rice on the side and you dish out whatever portions are best for you. My brother order the crab delight appetizer and enjoyed it a lot. We ended the meal with the sweet treat mango sticky rice and both loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for delicious Thai food.

I had a great experience at this Nice Thai restaurant! The food was delicious and authentic – just like home. I especially loved the Pad See Ew and Mango Sticky Rice The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. If you’re looking for real Thai flavors in the U.S., this place is definitely worth a try! Highly recommend!
